Homemade Coconut Butter

Before I found this recipe, I’d never even tried coconut butter. But as it seemed so simple, cheap and also healthy I decided to give it a try and, boy, am I glad that I did!!

What you need (one small jar):
200gr shredded coconut, a food processor.

Yes, I am being serious. That’s it. Just put the shredded coconut into your food processor and blend for about 5 minutes until the flakes become a smooth paste. Fill in a jar and store in fridge or pantry. You can keep it (if stored in an air-tight container) for 2 month, some people told me they kept it for as long as 6 months but trust me, it won’t last that long. It’s too delicious!!

Just put it on a bagel or on top of pancakes or look up one of the many healthy yummy recipes asking for coconut butter on Pinterest or the internet.
